ATHENA  NIKE

Part of the frieze from the temple of Athena Nike is also to be found at the British Museum.
On the left, is a slab from the North frieze : a battle between the Greeks and the Persians.
On the right, is a slab from the West frieze : the battle of Platees (victory of Athenians over the Persians).
