THE NORTH FRIEZE:ACR(slab 4).The rams for the sacrifices. The sacrifice was an essential part of the feast, the religious characteristic: it consisted of making an exceptional offering to Athena. The meat was equally shared among all the people, the grease and the bones  were burnt for the gods.
